General information about the Digital Cable Box

To watch TV using the Cable Box, you will need to have BOTH the TV and
the Cable Box turned on. If you are unsure if the cable box is on, there
should be a power light lit up to the right of the clock when it is on.

The TV will need to be tuned to Channel 3 to pick up what the box is
tuned to. You can check if the TV is on channel 3 by using the remote that came with your TV (NOT the Sky-View remote) or by manually changing the channels on your TV.

The built-in guide is updated every night at 4:00 AM. Since the guide
cannot be collected if the box is left powered on with analog channels,
we recommend that you make sure the box is turned OFF (not unplugged)
when not in use. This will ensure that the guide will collect during the
night.

If your cable box seems to be frozen up, not collecting data, saying
you are "unauthorized" for a channel you are subscribed for,
or is not displaying the guide information any more, you may need to reset it.

Unplug the power cord from either the back of the box or the wall outlet.

Leave the box unplugged for at least 10 minutes.

Plug the box back in and let it sit for at least 20 minutes (this will ensure that the box has enough time to reload the guide data).

Your cable box should be connected to your TV as shown:

How do I setup my POP3 email account so I can check it on more than one computer? (Outlook Express)

On the Tools menu, click Accounts.

Highlight your Sky-View email account, and then click Properties.

Click the Advanced tab, and under Delivery, select the Leave a copy of messages on the server
	check box.

Select one of the following options:

Remove from server after x days
E-mail messages are downloaded to your computer but remain on the
e-mail server for the number of days that you specify. This is the most
common setting for people who want to read their messages at work but
also download them for permanent storage on their home computer. We
recommend that you choose the smallest number of days that suits your
needs. The longer you leave messages on your e-mail server, the greater
the risk of exceeding your mailbox size quota.

Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'
E-mail messages are downloaded to your computer but also remain on the
e-mail server indefinitely until you delete the e-mail message in
Outlook and empty the Deleted Items folder. Just deleting the message doesn't remove the message from the e-mail server.

If you do not select either check box, messages are left on the
server indefinitely. You can eventually exceed your mailbox quota,
unless you connect to the e-mail server from another computer that has
Outlook configured to remove messages from the e-mail server.

Click OK, and then click Close.
